A prominent AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking a Junior Legal Billing Clerk to join their growing team in Downtown Los Angeles. Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and finalize client bills using 3E billing system
  • Assist with billing processes and accrual preparation
  • Retrieve and manage expense documentation (e.g., Chrome River)
  • Support e-billing submissions and third-party billing platforms
  • Prepare basic Excel reports and perform accounting-related tasks
  • Partner closely with assigned attorneys (approximately 10) and legal assistants
  • Build strong working relationships to support billing accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with ad hoc finance projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in a legal billing department (mid-size or large firm preferred)
  • Familiarity with 3E, E-Billing Hub, Chrome River or other similar platforms preferred
  • Strong basic Excel skills required

  • Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA
  • Hybrid Schedule: 1 day in-office, 4 days remote)
  • Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000
